Dear Supplier,

On behalf of Qemetica Soda Deutschland (the Ordering Party), I would like to invite your company to participate in the RFI (Request for Information) process entitled "Basic Design of a New Distillation Project at the Qemetica Soda Plant in Staßfurt."

The subject of the contract is described in the Terms of Reference and its appendices.

 

The procurement process consists of four stages:

 

Stage I

  1. technical discussions with suppliers who confirm their interest. At this stage, after signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the Ordering Party will send the documentation currently have.
  2. the main purpose of this stage is to conduct market research by Qemetica and familiarize suppliers with the project.

The conceptual work is being prepared internally by Qemetica. Completion is planned for January 15, 2026.

 

Stage II

  1. basing on the initial discussions and after the conceptual work performed by Qemetica is completed, the Ordering Party will publish the complete documentation (RFQ process). This stage should end with the submission of offers by interested companies.

 

Stage III

  1. the end of negotiations and contracting process is planned in February 2026.

 

Stage IV

  1. start of work by chosen company is planned at the beginning of March 2026.

Companies interested in participating in the RFI are asked to send confirmation via email by December 16, 2025.
